WHAT IS THIS?
It's a forum ministry run by Christians to expose the truth about cults, hate groups, and other groups with messed-up doctrine.
WHAT IS "AGAPE"?
It's an old Greek word for "love". The formal definition, according to Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries, is:
G26 (The 26th of all Greek words in the Bible in alphabetical order)
ἀγάπη
agapē
ag-ah'-pay
From G25; love, that is, affection or benevolence; specifically (plural) a love feast: - (feast of) charity ([-ably]), dear, love.
WHY DOES IT EXIST?
To be short and sweet, it's because we believe they're being led to Hell by false teachers. They are a false representation of what true Christianity is, and we believe that we should speak up and stop them for their sakes. This includes:
----Westboro "Baptist" Church,
----The Ku Kutz Klan,
----The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons),
----Charismatic churches,
and others... Although the concept really started over Westboro "Baptist" Church.
Though this forum is run by Christians, anyone can join and contribute to our fight against such groups (although they won't be able to access the Christian forum and can't be Administrators because that would defeat the point of the site being run by Christians).
RULES:
1. Flaming (insulting or cursing other members) is not allowed on these forums. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.
2. Trolling (doing pretty much anything to get an inflammatory response) is also not allowed. While I'm on the subject here, I should mention that the best response to someone trolling is to ignore them (and report the post). THIS IS NOT 4CHAN's /b/ BOARD. WE DO NOT ENDORSE THIS BEHAVIOR HERE.
3. Spamming (making Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages) is not allowed. This includes advertising for random products, off-topic posts, "spam topic"s, and anything else deemed pointless.
4. Illegal and legally grey stuff (Warez, cracks, ROMs, etc.) are not to be linked to, especially since this is supposed to be a ministry forum. Abandonware is probably safe to link to, though.
5. Content that isn't safe for work, school, etc. should NOT be posted at all in these forums, unless circumstances allow certain specific content. There will be NO pornographic pictures on these forums. Punishment for breaking this rule can severe depending on the content.
6. All college rules apply for Crown College students. Any significant violations will be reported to the Dean of Students.

7. Use common sense.
----a. Controversial debates (Religion, politics, etc.) for mixed audiences should be in the proper forum. If any such topics are found outside this forum, they will be moved there (if the topic starter has the right to post there) or locked. Please contribute to those topics intelligently (that means no flame wars).
----b. Don't make stupid topics like "OMG MEMBER X IS STUPID LOLOLOLOLZ". We don't appreciate stupidity. "F*** U ALL BYE BYE" topics aren't appreciated either. Give us a goodbye topic like that, and we'll make sure you never come back. ;)
8. Keep outside disputes off of the forums. If you have a beef with another member, use the PM system. Don't make a topic.
9. Don't abuse the report system. Do not consistently send stupid reports or even over-submit valid ones. We only need one report for a post.
CHRISTIAN FORUM SPECIFIC RULES:
This forum is set aside for fellow Christians to chat with each other. Because of the nature of this forum and the example Christians should set, rules will be enforced more strictly here.
The following people may not post on this forum:
1. Any member that has caused a lot of trouble recently. If a member is warned twice in a floating 30-day period or has committed any major offense, they are subject to being banned from the board.
2. Any member of another religion. This forum is called Christian for a reason.
3. Any member of a cult, hate group, or sect which is contrary to our fundamental beliefs. In most cases, you probably shouldn't be on these forums anyway. See the to join list below.
4. Anyone who isn't approved by me or a mutual agreement with others allowed into the board (at least 5 members needed).
To join, you must truthfully agree to all of the following:
1. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second person of the Godhead (Father, Son, Holy Ghost). He died on the cross to pay the price of our sins.
2. Salvation is by faith and faith alone. Works have nothing to do with it.
3. You hold God's Word, the Bible, as inspired, inerrant, and the only religious authority.
4. You are not one of the people that may not join (barring rule 4 there, obviously).
5. Your life reflects your belief in Christ.
More may be added to this list in case I missed something. If not, I'm perfectly happy with you coming in with these.
If you agree to all of that, please send a PM to me for approval.
WARN SYSTEM
Breaking the rules may increase your warn level. Once it reaches 100%, you are subject to being permanently banned from Operation Agape. As the warn level increases, punishments increase in severity (a six-hour suspension at 0% (warn before the offense) might be one day at 20%, three days at 40%, a week at 60%, 20 days at 80%, and permanent at 90%, for example.) Members with exemplary behavior after a warn can have their warn level lowered after some time; however, consistently going in a cycle of behaving and not behaving will only dig you a deeper hole.
MEMBER HIERARCHY
Level Negative Infinity: Banned
The guys who messed with us. Don't follow in their footsteps.
Level One: Members, Casual Members, Christ-like Members, and Casual Christ-like Members
The standard bunch of the forums. The only difference between the three? Topic permissions. Casual members can access the Controversial Topic board because they can actually behave there. (If not, they won't be that for long). Christ-like Members are allowed to post in the Christian forum. Wise Elect Members... both.
To become a Casual Member, you must have been registered for 30 days and haven't been warned for 60 days (only if warned before). You also should have 100 posts.
Read the Christian Forum Specific Rules for more information on becoming able to post in the Christian forum.
Level Two: Moderators, Christ-like Moderators
These groups watch over the members and see to it that they behave. Any moderator that causes a significant problem will be demoted immediately. Plain old moderators theoretically can moderate the Christian forum (until I figure out how to fix that), but will not be allowed to post.
Level Three: Administrators
Moderators with power to make changes to the forums. These guys pretty much own the forum.
Crown College Faculty may take whatever rank they wish.
